For many, entry into the hallowed halls of IIT is a dream in itself. But for some, this is just the first step to fulfil greater goals. From top CEOs to famous scientists, from young entrepreneurs to quirky entertainers, IITians have inspired generations of students.<\/p>\n

Spare a few minutes to read some of their success stories. Who knows, you might be the next! Just dare to dream and try to live up to it.<\/p>\n

  1. Ramanathan V. Guha:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    An alumnus of IIT Madras, Guha is the inventor of RSS Feed technology.<\/p>\n

    2.\u00a0Gagan. Goyal:<\/b><\/p>\n

    The robotics wizard who founded the ThinkLABS Technosolutions was a student of mechanical engineering in IIT Bombay. He followed his guts to create his own company with Abhishek Biswal, another alumnus of the same institute.<\/p>\n

    3.\u00a0Arunabh Kumar:<\/b><\/p>\n

    Did you know that the Qtiyapa guy was originally from IIT Kharagpur? He conceptualized and launched the online entertainment network called The Viral Fever, which has over a lakh subscribers to this day.<\/p>\n

    4.\u00a0Pranay Chulet:<\/b><\/p>\n

    Quikr, one of the top Indian peer-to-peer online classified markets, is the brainchild of yet another IIT Delhi alumnus, Pranay Chulet.<\/p>\n

    5.\u00a0N. R. Narayana Murthy:<\/b><\/p>\n

    An M-Tech from IIT Kanpur, Murthy is a co-founder of Infosys. He has been enlisted among the 12 greatest entrepreneurs of our times by the Fortune magazine and has been awarded the Padma Shri and the Padma Vibhushan awards.<\/p>\n

    6.\u00a0Sachin Bansal:<\/b><\/p>\n

    One of the top online stores in India, Flipkart, owes its birth to yet another IIT Delhi alumnus.<\/p>\n

    7.\u00a0Deepinder Goyal:<\/b><\/p>\n

    The founder of Zomato, who combined his passion for food and technological skills to create India\u2019s leading online food portal, is an M-Tech from IIT Delhi.<\/p>\n

    However, just getting into an IIT does not guarantee success. One requires passion and perseverance along with total commitment to their goal to emerge as an achiever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
