New Delhi,\u00a0October 28, 2018<\/strong>: Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), that provides comprehensive test preparatory services for students preparing for medical and engineering entrance examinations and foundation courses (covering school boards and junior competitive examinations), carried out one of its scholarship exams, \u00a0Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) on\u00a0October 28. Students studying in Class 8, 9 and 10 gave the exam which aims to offer up to 100% scholarship and cash scholarship awards to students. The exam was conducted in both pen & paper and Computer Based Test (CBT) format to correspond with the government\u2019s decision to conduct entrance examinations such as JEE (Main) in CBT format. While 308912 students wrote the pen & paper test, 5250 students took the test in the CBT mode.<\/p>\n

Aakash conducted ANTHE with a hope to motivate students to aim for an enriching career in medical & engineering stream. The exam received the support and appreciation from school community and parents resulting in over 314162 students participating in ANTHE 2018.<\/p>\n

The objective of ANTHE has always been to identify students so that they can be nurtured and groomed for better performance in school & various entrance\/competitive exams.<\/p>\n

A total of 314162 students appeared for ANTHE 2018 to earn the ANTHE scholarship.<\/p>\n

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Whole-time Director at Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) said \u201cThis year a total of 314162 students appeared for ANTHE 2018 to earn the ANTHE scholarship. Top 50 students from each Class, 8, 9 and 10 respectively, will be eligible for 100% scholarship as per the terms and policies of AESL. From Class 10, Top 1000 students (Engineering Aspirants) and Top 500 students (Medical Aspirants) are eligible for up to 100% Scholarship. In addition, Top 150 students from Class 8 and 9 will be given up to 100% scholarship. Additionally, Top 150 ranking students in each class will also be eligible for Cash Scholarship Awards. Through this scholarship, Aakash is aiming to empower a number of students to fulfill their aspirations. The monetary incentives may encourage more and more candidates to utilize AESL\u2019s coaching without financial constraints.<\/p>\n

The countrywide talent hunt exam which has been conducted across 23 States\/union territories aimed to cover all the zones- North, South, East and West with all the major states and union territories of India. In alphabetical order, the names of states include Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.<\/p>\n
