Students who qualify KVPY, receive a monthly scholarship up to pre-Ph.D. level. The <a href=\"http:\/\/kvpy.iisc.ernet.in\/main\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KVPY exam <\/a>is administered by the Indian Institute of Science. Candidates who qualify the aptitude round are called for a face to face interview. About 2500 out of one lakh aspirants are awarded KVPY fellowship.<\/p>\n<h2>About the Fellowship program<\/h2>\n<p>A KVPY fellow is entitled to receive monthly stipend pre Ph.D level or 5 years, whichever is earlier, given that he maintains the minimum grade every year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From the second year of B.Sc.\/B.S.\/B.Math.\/B.Stat \/Integrated M.Sc.\/Integrated M.S. program, KVPY fellows must participate and perform satisfactorily in a summer program in an academic Institution of National or International repute or DSIR approved research labs.
