Here are a few tips to prepare for JEE Main 2019 in one month for students who have completed some (hopefully the important) topics, and are panicking a teensy bit about completing it all on time. We got you covered.

Note: The division of chapters on the basis of difficult/easy/what-to-leave-for-the-end is not universal. You will need to know your strengths and weaknesses and where you stand on the preparation scale. The following pointers are simply to give you a basic structure of how you can proceed in the last crucial month of preparation.

Follow the Pomodoro technique

The Pomodoro technique is perfect for those who get easily distracted or can’t sit studying for hours on end at a desk.

The technique is simple: you pick a task (preparing for JEE ‘19 here) and you set a timer for 25 minutes. During those 25 minutes, you study and do nothing else. No phone, no email, no answering calls. Those 25 minutes are for focused study. If another task comes to write, note it down so you remember it for later.

After the timer goes off, take a 5 or 7-minute break. Return to the desk after those minutes for a 25-minute studying session again.

After 4 such 25-minute sessions, take a longer break. For 20/30 minutes. Make sure to do something which really refreshes your mind like going for a walk, dancing, or a 5-minute yoga routine.

Have the important stuff at your fingertips

Whether in conversations with friends and teachers or while solving previous year papers yourself, you must have noticed the topics which have a 100% (or near to that) chance of being asked. Make sure you do not leave these out. And when you study for them, make sure they are at your fingertips.

This means that no matter the difficulty level of the question or the way in which it is asked, you are able to answer it correctly. These will ensure that you keep on accumulating 4 marks for every right answer in one smooth streak.

Here is a list of the most important chapters
