Their courses and admission conditions vary, so check the individual institute’s programme details before making your preference list.<\/p>\n Do not reject an institute only because it is not an IIT or NIT. Look at its programme, curriculum, placements, internships, fees and location before deciding \u2014 and confirm you meet the relevant JEE Main eligibility criteria<\/a> or JEE Advanced eligibility criteria<\/a> for each category of institute.<\/p>\n If you are interested in higher education from the beginning, look at dual-degree and integrated programmes offered by participating institutes.<\/p>\n These programmes can combine undergraduate and postgraduate study within a single academic pathway. Depending on the institute and programme, they can be useful for students who already know that they want deeper specialisation or research-oriented education.<\/p>\n However, do not choose a dual degree simply because it sounds like you are getting \u201ctwo degrees\u201d. Check the programme duration, academic structure and the exact qualification awarded before making your choice.<\/p>\n Technology is creating engineering roles that did not exist in the same form a decade ago. Students interested in mathematics, programming and problem-solving can explore areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, robotics, automation and computational engineering.<\/p>\n Data science combines statistics, mathematics, programming and domain knowledge. Robotics brings together mechanical engineering, electronics, control systems and computing. AI combines programming with mathematical and statistical foundations.<\/p>\n You do not always need a degree with the exact name of the emerging field to enter it. A student who enjoys programming may be miserable in a branch chosen only for its college name.
