The National Testing Agency (NTA)<\/strong> declared the NEET UG Result 2026<\/strong> on
\n16th July 2026<\/strong>, for the Re-NEET exam conducted on 21st June 2026<\/strong>.
\nCandidates can download their scorecard from the official website
\nneet.nta.nic.in<\/a> using their
\nApplication Number and Date of Birth. Close to 20 lakh candidates<\/strong> appeared for the exam, out of
\nwhich 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified<\/strong> for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and allied
\nmedical courses.<\/p>\n

NEET UG Toppers List 2026<\/h2>\n

Aryan Gupta (Punjab)<\/strong> and Panshul Bansal (Haryana)<\/strong> jointly topped NEET UG 2026
\nwith a score of 715 out of 720<\/strong>. According to the official NTA press release, 19 candidates
\nscored above 700 marks, and 138 candidates scored above 690 marks \u2014 of whom over 93% were first-time NEET
\nappearers and 99% were aged between 17 and 19 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

State Toppers (select):<\/strong> Jigmet Yangchan Lamo (Ladakh \u2013 530 marks), Dhruv Tripathi
\n(Andaman & Nicobar Islands \u2013 606 marks), Fahmida Anees (Lakshadweep \u2013 573 marks). The top 17 rankers who
\nscored above 705 marks came from eight states \u2014 Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar,
\nTamil Nadu and Telangana. Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of qualified candidates (over 1.7 lakh),
\nwhile Lakshadweep recorded the lowest (43).<\/p>\n

How to Check NEET UG Scorecard 2026<\/h2>\n

  1. Visit the official NTA NEET portal: neet.nta.nic.in<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Click on the “NEET UG 2026 Scorecard” link on the homepage.<\/li>\n
  3. A login window will open on screen.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter your Application Number, Password\/Date of Birth and Security Pin.<\/li>\n
  5. Submit the login form.<\/li>\n
  6. Your NEET UG 2026 Scorecard will appear on screen.<\/li>\n

    NEET Counselling 2026: What’s Next<\/h2>\n

    Qualifying NEET does not guarantee admission \u2014 final seat allotment depends on rank, category, choice filling,
    \nseat availability and counselling rounds. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)<\/strong> will conduct
    \ncounselling for 15% All India Quota seats in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and a Stray Vacancy Round. State
    \ncounselling authorities will separately conduct admissions for the 85% State Quota seats. This year’s
    \ncounselling comes with an increase in government MBBS seats following approval of new medical colleges.<\/p>\n

    Candidates should rely only on official portals for counselling updates: neet.nta.nic.in<\/a>, mcc.nic.in<\/a>, and their respective state counselling websites.<\/p>\n
