NEET UG 2025 Counselling is in progress for those students who have passed a NEET exam. It is a crucial move in case you seek any of the following courses\u2014MBBS, BDS and other medical programs all over India, under the 15 percent All-India Quota (AIQ).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this round, they are required to log in, submit the counseling fee, fill in their college and course preferences and lock the same within the time frame.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Steps to Register for NEET UG 2025 Counselling Round 1<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Here are the steps you should follow to register for the counselling:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Visit the official website<\/b>\u2014mcc.nic.in.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Click on <\/span>\u201cUG Medical Counselling\u201d<\/b> and then on <\/span>\u201cNew Registration.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n
    3. Enter your <\/span>NEET roll number, application number, and other details<\/b><\/li>\n
    4. Create a password<\/b> and complete your registration<\/span><\/li>\n

      After registering and paying the fee, the next step is <\/span>choice filling and locking<\/b>. Follow these steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Log in to the MCC portal<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Click on <\/span>\u201cChoice Filling & Locking.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n
      3. Select the <\/span>colleges and courses<\/b> based on your preference<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Arrange them in order of priority (most preferred at the top)<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Save your choices regularly<\/span><\/li>\n

        Why Did MCC Extend NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Registration?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        Initially, the registration cutoff was July 31, 2025. <\/b>However, numerous students encountered the difficulties because of massive traffic on the portal, slow servers, and confusion about last-minute time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        MCC was able to give the students an additional three days by announcing the deadline of 3rd August, 2025, to help prevent losing good candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n

        This extension has come in handy but chances are that it will not be extended again and therefore those students should take all necessary steps before the deadline.<\/span><\/p>\n
