North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is a deemed university which was set up in 1984, at Nirjuli, Itanagar \u2013 Arunachal Pradesh. : Others are located in a floor space of about 3000 sq m with a total land space of 500 acres. NERIST is an autonomous institute and recognized by MHRD Govt of India and under the affiliation of UGC & AICTE. NERIST Itanagar Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n

NERIST currently has eleven departments of education in Science and engineering and one centre for management studies. The undergraduate courses offered in engineering are accredited by the NBA. From NERIST\u2019s website, the mode of admission to the institute is through its own entrance tests, namely NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III. Besides NEE entrances sets, the institute uses the scores of other national level examinations such as JEE Main. The university currently has six engineering disciplines and one forestry and offers bachelor\u2019s degree. NERIST Admission 2024<\/strong><\/h2>\n

NESRA Course Admission is done on the basis of the NEE entrance examinations administered by the institute at thee stages. Institute presents the admission to the students from the basic level i.e. students can enroll for the NERIST certificate courses From class X. Candidates have to appear NEE-I examination for taking admission in the Certificate Course.<\/span><\/p>\n

For admitting students to the UG-level degree courses offered in this institute, the candidates need to qualify in NEE-II & NEE-III. For admission to B.Tech and B.Sc. (Forestry) entrance, one has to compete in NEE-II and for lateral entry into B.Tech one has to qualify in the NEE-III test. In addition to the NEE-II & NEE-III, the institute accepts the joint entrance examination main (JEE Main) scores for B.Tech courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the admission to the postgraduate programs of NERIST are based on the scores obtained in the National Level Entrance test. For admission to M.Tech course, NERIST recognizes the GATE entrance test scores. However, the MBA at NERIST Nirjuli takes cognizance of the CAT\/ MAT\/ XAT\/ CMAT scores, with a GD or a PI round as a follow up. For the PG and Ph.D students who have not attempted the national level tests, the institute has a written test scheduled.<\/span><\/p>\n

NERIST Counselling: If a candidate has a valid score in the entrance examination test he\/she has to register for NERIST counselling. The particular of the selected\/ waitlisted candidates, date and time of the counseling will be displayed on the institute web site: www.nerist.ac.in they can download their Counseling letter from the website. During counselling\/ admission, the candidates shall be required to produce original certificates\/ documents for verification and Member copies of the self-attested documents.<\/span><\/p>\n

NERIST Entrance Exam 2024<\/span><\/p>\n

The examination name is NERIST Entrance Examination abbreviated as NEE and is taken to join certificate and undergraduate courses within the institute. There are three exams: NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III that are held annually for April to enroll students in various modules. The test is delivered in offline mode at various testing facilities; students can apply online on the official web site. NERIST Scholarships 2024<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On a need cum merit basis, NERIST is providing studentship to the students. These students also can apply for the GATE scholarship and NET JRF or CSIR JRF fellowship for their research programs. Some of the scholarships offered by NERIST are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

    The NERIST Campus is situated in 500 Acres of land. It has many infrastructural facilities like a sub-post office, and bank, SBI with ATM, a departmental store, Canteen, Medical Health Unit,\u2026etc. Every community of the faculty & officers of the college has its recreational clubs. Stations are from boys and girls hostel compound for stationeries.
