This measure was taken to provide direct response to the problems faced by aspirants who have got seat in both MCC as well as state counseling. Most of the candidates required an option to get out from the MCC seats to migrate to those offered in state counseling. To address this, MCC has given the candidates the permission to relinquish their Round 1 seats so that they are open for other deserving candidates in subsequent rounds. The date for submission of such notices is December 3, 2024.

Purpose of developing the Resignation facility

MCC got many application from candidates whose MCC and state counselling centre seat matrix was same.
