JoSAA Counseling Round 5 Seat Allotment 2024<\/b>– Recently JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has announced the Round 5 Seat Allotment Result on 17th July 2024 (Wednesday). Earlier 4 Rounds of Seat allotment were announced. Students can check their results on the official website. JoSAA Counseling 2024<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Till now JoSSA has announced 5 rounds of Seat allotment for students who have appeared for JEE exams to take admissions in different institutes like IITs, NITs for different Engineering courses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After getting the JEE exam results, the students have to go through a detailed counseling process for their acceptance to different colleges all across the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JoSAA Counseling Process 2024<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To appear for JoSSA Counseling, the students have to first register themselves. To register on the official website, the students have to fill in their JEE Roll Number and password. Now the students have to do<\/span> Choice Filling<\/span>. Choice Filling means the student can select their choice of colleges in which they wish to take admission.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Make sure to fill in the choices in order of your preference. <\/b>Take a print out of your choices for future reference.<\/span><\/p>\n

JoSAA announces approximately 6 rounds of seat allotment. When the cutoff is released, students have to login through their credentials and check if they are eligible for seat allotment.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the seat allotment, the candidates have to pay the tuition fee for the concerned institution and submit their documents. It is very important to submit the fee and documents in the given time frame. If a student fails to do so, the admission will be canceled.<\/span><\/p>\n

JoSAA Seat Allotment Process 2024<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Students who are eligible for seat allotment ( marks more than the cutoff of institution) , students get three options of Freeze, Float and Slide.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Freeze:<\/b> Freeze option means that the student wishes to freeze their seat allocated. The next step is to pay the tuition fee and submit documents.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Float: <\/b>Float option means the student wishes to lock the seat and is willing to appear for the next round for better allocation of the institute.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    NOTE<\/b>: Students can withdraw their admission in the next round of seat allotment if they wish to do so.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
