NIT Tiruchirappalli 2024-25:<\/b> The National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, previously known as Regional Engineering College, is located in the heart of Tamil Nadu along the banks of the river Cauvery. Established in 1964 through a joint initiative of the central and state governments, its primary aim was to fulfill the nation’s demand for skilled manpower in the technology sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Recognizing its contributions, the institution was granted Deemed University Status in 2003, prompting the change to its current name. In 2007, NIT Tiruchirappalli was further honored as an Institution of National Importance by an act of parliament, solidifying its prestigious status in the field of technical education.<\/span><\/p>\n

NIT Tiruchirappalli 2024-25<\/b><\/h2>\n

NIT Tiruchirappalli<\/strong> has released the admission counselling schedule for 2024-25 covering a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. Interested candidates can find detailed information on the institute’s official website. With 17 departments and a faculty strength of 298 members, NITT spans across an expansive 800-acre campus. It caters to over 6,500 students with offerings in engineering, management, and architecture disciplines. The institute currently offers 1038 seats for its B.Tech. and B.Arch programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The National Institute of Technology, Trichy, is one of India’s 31 National Institutes of Technology established by the Government of India. Today, NITT operates as an autonomous coeducational technical institute offering a comprehensive array of academic programs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It provides 10 undergraduate, 28 postgraduate, and several PhD courses, including management and architectural programs through dedicated departments. Undergraduate admissions are based on JEE (Main) exam scores followed by a counselling process.
