Candidates appearing for this exam will receive the hall ticket soon.\u00a0After the publication of NEET\u00a0results<\/a> on June 4, claims of discrepancies in the NTA conducted\u00a0NEET 2024<\/strong> gained momentum with aspirants and parents demanding NEET Re-Exam<\/strong>.\u00a0 The Union Government on Thursday, June 13<\/strong>\u00a0informed the Supreme Court of the decision to cancel the scorecards of 1,563 students<\/strong> who were granted compensatory marks and organize a Re-exam<\/strong>. The result\u00a0of NEET Re-exam 2024<\/strong> is expected to be released on June 30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Acknowledging the concern raised by the aspirants and parents to cancel the NEET UG 2024 results,<\/strong> the Supreme Court previously issued a notice to the NTA demanding a response to justify their standpoint. The court addressed petitions\u00a0filed challenging the grace marking\u00a0scheme<\/strong> and alleged paper leaks related to\u00a0NEET and\u00a0Re-NEET 2024..<\/strong><\/p>\n

Should I prepare for NEET Re-Exam 2024?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Addressing concerns among the aspirants regarding the NEET controversy, the NTA\u00a0 Director General Subodh Kumar had earlier assured aspirants that they are not planning any NEET Re-Exam 2024<\/strong>. But the move of the Union Government added new dimensions to\u00a0the case with\u00a0NEET Re-exam 2024<\/strong>\u00a0knocking at the door.\u00a0This exam is scheduled for\u00a0June 23 from\u00a02 pm to 5.20 pm.\u00a0 Only 1,563 candidates<\/strong> who were granted grace marks for unattempted questions due to \u201closs of time\u201d are eligible for the test.\u00a0 NEET Re-Exam 2024 results will be declared on June 30<\/strong>, and the counselling for admissions to\u00a0MBBS, BDS, and other related courses will commence on 6 July.<\/p>\n

For those candidates out of 1,563 who do not\u00a0wish to appear for Re-NEET 2024<\/strong>, their previous scores excluding the grace marks will be taken into consideration to prepare the result, without any compensation. Such candidates will be informed of their actual score via their registered email IDs. Admit cards for all students appearing for the NTA NEET Re-Exam 2024<\/strong> session are expected to be released soon on the official website.<\/p>\n

  • 6 of these toppers come from the same examination center in Haryana.<\/li>\n
  • Candidates have even managed to secure scores like 718 and 719 which is highly unrealistic given the marking scheme NEET adheres to.<\/li>\n
  • NEET 2024 paper leak allegation was raised on the exam day pointing fingers towards a center in Rajasthan.<\/li>\n
  • NEET UG result 2024 has been released 10 days ahead of its scheduled date on 14th June 2024. Allegations have been made that the release of the NTA NEET UG results on the 4th of June was pre-planned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Complaints have been lodged that the authority wanted to keep the issue away from public attention and chose a day to release the results when the country would be busy monitoring the Lok Sabha General Election Results 2024 which too was scheduled for 4th June.<\/p>\n

    However, defending their move, the NTA\u00a0claimed that since the results were already prepared and ready, they decided to wait no more with the NEET UG result announcement. Further, the body claimed that the date of the result declaration was a mere coincidence and had nothing to do with hiding facts. They stated that over 24 lakh aspirants like you were waiting to know their fate with NEET, and declaring the result would help them to relax and plan the future accordingly.<\/p>\n

    How to Know if a student was awarded Grace Marks in NEET 2024?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    You have come up with a genuine question which has been strategically answered by the NTA. According to the body, grace marks were awarded to 1,563 students who appeared for the NEET 2024 examination. Of this number, 790 students qualified for the examination based on grace marks. Others among the remaining either failed or secured negative markings. The National Testing Agency stressed the fact that awarding grace marks did not have an impact on the overall performance observed in NEET 2024 in any manner. Keeping the scenario of grace marks in concern, the NTA has assured that if the\u00a0NEET-Re Exam 2024\u00a0<\/strong>takes place, it will be for the 1,563 candidates awarded grace marks only.
