1. Where I can access the syllabus of the National Eligibility-cumEntrance Test NEET (UG) – 2024?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ans\u00a0 –<\/strong> The National Medical Commission (NMC) has officially released the syllabus for NEET (UG). The upcoming question paper will adhere to this specified syllabus, conveniently accessible on the NMC website. For the academic year 2024-25, the NMC has posted the revised NEET (UG) syllabus \u2013 2024, which can be viewed by visiting the following link: NEET (UG) 2024 Syllabus. 2. Is there any change in the syllabus for NEET (UG) – 2024 with respect to the previous year?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ans –<\/strong> Certainly, there have been modifications to the NEET (UG) \u2013 2024 syllabus compared to the previous year. Topics that are not covered in any School Board curriculum or are absent from the latest NCERT book have been excluded. The syllabus has undergone revisions and reductions to concentrate on essential core concepts.<\/p>\n

3. Why the syllabus of NEET (UG) has been revised for the Academic Year 2024-25?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ans –<\/strong>Owing to the COVID-19 situation, several School Boards removed portions from the syllabus of each subject. These deletions, however, have not been reversed by the respective Boards. The extent of deletions varied among different boards, leading to numerous requests received by the NTA for a revision of the syllabus.<\/p>\n

4. In Unit 2 of the Biology syllabus, it is written \u2013 \u201cof an insect (Frog)\u201d. But Frog is not an insect.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ans –<\/strong>It should be read as \u201cof an insect and a frog\u201d.<\/p>\n

5. There are a few topics included in the updated syllabus but those are not given in the new NCERT Books.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ans –<\/strong>The inclusion of these topics is based on their incorporation into the curricula of several School Boards, including the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Bihar School Education Board, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, Nagaland Board of School Education, and Board of Secondary Education Manipur.<\/p>\n
