The National Testing Agency (NTA) commenced the registration process for the Joint Entrance Exam Main 2024 January Session on November 1 and the last date to apply for the same is November 30, 2023, up to 9 Pm. All those candidates who wish to appear in the JEE Main Exam 2024 can apply for the same through the official website.<\/p>\n

The JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in two sessions.<\/p>\n

Session 1 (January 2024) and Session 2 (April 2024). JEE Main 2024 session 1 is set to be conducted from January 24 and February 1, 2024, while session 2 will be conducted between April 1 and April 15, 2024.<\/p>\n

NTA has introduced some changes in JEE Main 2024. From changing the host website to the syllabus, there are a few changes this year that prospective candidates must know before applying for the engineering entrance exam. Read further to know the exact changes expected.<\/p>\n

Here is the list of changes that candidates should know before applying for the JEE Mains January 2024 exam:<\/strong><\/p>\n

JEE Mains 2024 Official Website<\/strong><\/h3>\n

NTA has launched a new website address where all official information related to the JEE Mains 2024 will be released for the convenience of the candidates.<\/p>\n

New Website Address:<\/strong> jeemain.nta.ac.in<\/p>\n

Old Website address:<\/strong> jeemain.nta.nic.in<\/p>\n

A Digital Assistance for Applicants<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The new JEE Main website also provides an automated chatbot that will work as an online assistant to help candidates who apply for JEE Mains in January 2024. This new feature is available at the bottom right corner of the homepage of jeemain.nta.ac.in.<\/p>\n

Registration through ABC & Digilocker<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To register online for the JEE Mains 2024, candidates must create a Digilocker account through a National Academic Depository (NAD) portal or an Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID). Candidates who do not want to register using DigiLocker or ABC ID will have to report to the allotted exam centre an hour earlier than the entry time on the examination day.<\/p>\n

Number of Exam Cities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This year, NTA has decreased the number of JEE Main 2024 exam cities to 300. Last Year, the number of exam cities was 304.<\/p>\n

JEE Mains 2024 Syllabus<\/strong><\/h3>\n

NTA has also revised the JEE Mains Syllabus 2024. Some chapters have been obliterated from the syllabus while a few sub-topics have been eliminated to align them with the NCERT Curriculum for Class 11 and Class 12 students.<\/p>\n
