During this announcement, the National Medical Commission emphasized that any admissions or counselling procedures taking place beyond this specified date would be considered a breach of NMC regulations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a recent statement dated October 19th, the National Medical Commission declared that students enrolled in medical colleges after September 30th would have their admissions invalidated. The NMC statement explicitly directed all stakeholders, including central and state authorities, as well as medical colleges, to strictly adhere to the counselling schedule established by the National Medical Commission for the academic session of 2023-24 in relation to UG MBBS programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The statement also highlighted the consequences of any counselling activities carried out by the aforementioned authorities outside the prescribed schedule, indicating that such actions would render the admissions null and void. The decision to annul these admissions was made in response to the NMC&#8217;s discovery that UG MBBS counselling, whether conducted online or offline, had continued beyond the NEET UG 2023 counselling cut-off date in various states, including Bihar, Maharashtra, and West Bengal.
