My name is Dhruv Advani and I joined Aakash BYJU&#8217;s\u00a0 for a three-year integrated classroom course for NEET. I still can\u2019t believe that I have cracked NEET. Dhruv also qualified for OCSE in Biology in 11th and 12th. Not only this, but Dhruv is also an NTSC and KVPY scholar and also topped the Class 12 boards.<\/p>\n<p>I choose Aakash BYJU\u2019s as I wanted to study in a competitive environment. The faculty here is very friendly and supportive which makes it easy to study and clear doubts. I studied really hard to crack the NEET Exam and participated in various previous year question papers. Medical was always my dream and I wanted to become a doctor right from the beginning.<\/p>\n<h2>What was the Major Influence in my life that Helped Me?<\/h2>\n<p>I&#8217;ve had two major influences in my life who are doctors. My nana, he&#8217;s a Cardio Physician, and my Masi, she&#8217;s a Neuro Physician. From a very young age, I used to have a lot of problems and he would always be there for the smallest of things whatever the issues were. He was always able to help me which further inspired me to help others. I&#8217;ve always wanted to go into a service-oriented career. And biology is my field. For as long as I can remember, it&#8217;s been ingrained in me that I wanted to do something in biology. And as the years went on, that just evolved into a passion for medicine because that&#8217;s who I want to be.<\/p>\n<p>I lived in US for a couple of years, and when we came back, we had no idea about the schooling scene in India. So in 10th grade, we were supposed to have boards, which had a lot of hype at that time. Everyone says it&#8217;s an important year and you need to be careful and all. So one of my mom&#8217;s friends told us you should enroll your child in a coaching institute. It will help. My parents were very against it initially because they said I don&#8217;t need any extra help. It&#8217;s just going to add stress. But then we ended up visiting Aakash Institute and went through their study material. It was actually the books that drew me in because the study packages were so well structured and the diagrams were given and everything was amazing. I&#8217;d seen the NCRT textbooks and I didn&#8217;t like those that much. It was mainly the books and then I sat in a class and I was enamored. Aakash has honestly been amazing. There was never any extra stress. Without their support, nothing would have been possible. Dhruv\u2019s mother stated \u201cFor his programs, his teachers were his mentors. They know exactly where he needed help, and how he was supposed to be calmed down. And I would say that my son&#8217;s biggest strength is his cool and calm nature. The moment he stresses out; he would start making mistakes. So they also knew how to calm him down, where to control him, and where to stop being too stressful, making the situation too stressful. So overall, it has been a great journey. And I would say that he would not have been able to do this without their help.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, Dhruv also stated that avoid all kinds of distractions while studying and work passionately towards achieving your goal.
