The examination is divided into two shifts and papers. Paper 1 will be held during the morning shift from 9 AM to noon, while Paper 2 will take place in the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. It is mandatory for all candidates to attend both papers.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for JEE Advanced 2023 was open to candidates with a JEE Main 2023 rank below 2,50,000. The NTA issued the JEE Advanced admit card on May 29, which includes candidates&#8217; names, application numbers, dates of birth, signatures, exam dates, pictures, and exam center information.<\/p>\n<h2>JEE ADVANCED 2023: WHAT TO CARRY?<\/h2>\n<p>As per the guidelines, only specific items are allowed inside the examination facility, including pens, pencils, transparent water bottles, the admit card, and an original photo ID card. It is crucial for candidates to have their admit card in order to take the exam. Without a valid admit card and an authorized photo ID (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or School\/College\/Institute ID), candidates will not be permitted to sit for the exam under any circumstances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the JEE Advanced Exam, certain items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. These include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Electronic devices: Any electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, tablets, or any other electronic communication devices are not allowed.<\/li>\n<li>Study materials: Candidates are not allowed to carry any books, notes, papers, or any study materials inside the examination hall.<\/li>\n<li>Bags and wallets: Candidates are prohibited from bringing bags, wallets, purses, or any other type of storage containers inside the examination hall.<\/li>\n<li>Stationery items: Apart from pens and pencils, candidates should avoid carrying any extra stationery items like erasers, correction fluid, or rulers. The examination center will provide necessary stationery if required.<\/li>\n<li>Watches: Candidates are not allowed to wear wristwatches during the exam.
