Qualifying JEE Main<\/span><\/h2>\n

The first step towards eligibility for <\/span>JEE Advanced 2023<\/span><\/a> is to qualify the JEE Main examination. JEE Main serves as a screening test, and candidates who secure a position among the top 2,50,000 (including all categories) in the paper 1 of JEE Main are deemed eligible for JEE Advanced.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Candidates aspiring to appear for JEE Advanced 2023 should have been born on or after October 1, 1998. However, there is relaxation for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, where the upper age limit is relaxed by five years (i.e., they should have been born on or after October 1, 1993).<\/span><\/p>\n
