How Many Questions are there In NEET?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET requires students to work hard and do rigorous preparation. With a good understanding of the exam pattern and syllabus, students can train themselves to effectively manage their time during the exam. For this, applicants must know the number of questions they need to answer and also how many questions fall in each section, their type, mark distribution, and negative marking.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Subject Wise Marks Distribution<\/span><\/h2>\n

Knowing the different subjects, sections, and number of questions in each section also helps candidates devise a foolproof strategy for better preparation. Earlier, the total number of questions asked in NEET was 180 questions. But in 2022, the NTA introduced a new pattern with 200 questions, of which candidates must answer 180. Conclusion\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Candidates must remember that while every correct answer is awarded four marks, one mark will be deducted from the total score for every wrong or incorrect answer. So they should choose an answer only if they are sure and not do any guesswork as it can affect their score and rank. Also, candidates should not mark more than one answer for a question as it will be considered a wrong answer. However, no marks will be deducted if a question is not attempted and left unmarked.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
