Aspiring engineering students across India are eagerly preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023, which is the gateway for admission to some of the top engineering institutes in the country. The JEE Main 2023 exam is expected to be conducted in multiple shifts in the month of February, and it is important for the candidates to familiarize themselves with the exam day guidelines and instructions to avoid any last-minute hassles.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this blog, we have discussed some of the important instructions and guidelines that candidates should keep in mind on the day of the JEE Main 2023 exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Admit Card<\/b>: The first and foremost thing that candidates need to carry to the exam center is their admit card. Candidates will be prohibited from entering the exam hall if they fail to present the admit card on the exam day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Valid ID Proof:<\/b> Along with the admit card, candidates are also required to carry a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, or passport. The ID proof should be original and not expired.<\/span><\/p>\n

Time Management:<\/b> It is important for candidates to manage their time effectively on the day of the exam. They should reach the exam center at least an hour before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. This will give them enough time to complete the security checks and other formalities before the exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dress Code: <\/b>The exam authorities have specified a dress code for candidates appearing for JEE Main 2023. As per the advisory issued by the authority, candidates will have to wear light-colored clothes with half sleeves. They are not allowed to wear any jewelry or accessories, and shoes are also not allowed inside the exam hall.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prohibited Items:<\/b> Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, or smartwatches inside the exam hall. They are also not allowed to carry any study material, notes, or any other paper inside the exam hall.<\/span><\/p>\n

COVID-19 Protocols:<\/b> In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, candidates are advised to follow all the safety protocols such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, and carrying a sanitizer bottle.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is essential for candidates to read and understand all the exam day guidelines and instructions carefully to avoid any last-minute confusion or stress. They should also stay calm and focused during the exam and attempt all the questions to the best of their abilities.
