Jamia Millia Islamia has decided to opt out of the CUET 2023 Exam. The Common University Entrance Test, CUET Exam will not be held for entry into all UG and PG courses at Jamia. Instead, Jamia will conduct its own entrance exam to “ensure timely admissions\u201d. Jamia Millia Islamia conducted admissions for 10 undergraduate courses through CUET for the academic session of 2022-23. For the Session of 2023-24, the higher education institute is expected to use CUET 2023<\/a> for a limited amount of courses.<\/p>\n

The official further stated that the university has no plans to implement CUET 2023 across all undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Jamia said that it would stick to its own admission test – the JMI Entrance Exam. Last year, Jamia opened admissions for 8 courses through the CUET Exam. However, this number later increased to 10.<\/p>\n

Students who applied for the – BA (Hons) Turkish Language and Literature, BA (Hons) Sanskrit, BA (Hons) French and Francophone Studies, BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies, BA (Hons) History, BA (Hons) Hindi, BA (Hons) Economics, BSc Biotechnology, BVoc (Solar Energy), and BSc (Hons) Physics courses at Jamia were required to appear for CUET 2022.<\/p>\n

The number and details regarding the new courses under CUET would be shared by the institute soon. CUET 2023 Registrations are underway for the CUET UG exams. Candidates can submit their applications on\u00a0the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0till 12 March 2023. CUET UG 2023<\/a> is scheduled to be held from 21 to 31 May 2023.<\/p>\n
