CBSE Board Exams 2023:<\/strong> Pre-boards are exams soon to begin and most students are worried about their Maths preparation. Begin Preparation by Scrutinising the Syllabus & Paper Pattern<\/h3>\n

The present syllabus of Mathematics CBSE X Exam has been designed around seven units – Number Systems, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics and Probability<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two exams that are conducted: Mathematics-Basic and Mathematics-Standard.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Typology of Questions – Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Analysing, Evaluating and Creating | Total marks = 80 | Duration = 3 hrs.<\/b><\/p>\n

As per the sample papers released by CBSE, there will be 38 questions divided into five sections A, B, C, D and E. Section A includes 18 MCQs along with 2 Assertion-Reasoning type questions carrying 1 mark each. Apart from this, Section B includes 5 Short answer-I (SA-I) type questions carrying 2 marks each, Section C includes 6 Short answer-II (SA-II) type questions carrying 3 marks each, Section D includes 4 Long answer type questions carrying 5 marks each and Section E includes 3 case-based units of assessment of 4 marks each with sub-parts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deleted Chapters\/Topics<\/h3>\n

  • The ratio of the areas of two similar triangles is equal to the ratio of the squares of their corresponding sides.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • In a right triangle, the square on the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares on the other two sides.<\/span><\/li>\n
