{"id":252507,"date":"2022-12-07T18:40:32","date_gmt":"2022-12-07T13:10:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aakash.ac.in\/blog\/?p=252507"},"modified":"2023-05-02T15:55:00","modified_gmt":"2023-05-02T10:25:00","slug":"crack-neet-pg-in-100-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aakash.ac.in\/blog\/crack-neet-pg-in-100-days\/","title":{"rendered":"How to crack Neet PG in 100 days?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dlp.aakash.ac.in\/medical\/one-year-all-india-aakash-test-series-aiats-neet-2023-class-xii-passed?utm_source=seobanner&amp;utm_medium=DLP_Aakashweb&amp;utm_campaign=AIATS_blogcontent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d20x1nptavktw0.cloudfront.net\/wordpress_media\/2023\/02\/750x242-v2.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Is it even possible?<\/h3>\n<p>Answer: Whether this is possible or not depends upon where you are in the preparation journey \u2013 choose which of the following best describes you (we are assuming a somewhat loose description also works):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Category (A)<\/strong>: I haven\u2019t finished any subject completely; I have revised many subjects half-way through; I am yet to start Psychiatry &amp; Anesthesia; and don\u2019t get me started on Anatomy &amp; Biochemistry (or something to that effect &amp; you get the drift).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (B)<\/strong>: I have done most short subjects except for Radiology \/ Ophthalmology (or other similarly difficult subject!); I have covered 60% of Medicine, Surgery and Pathology. But I am afraid of the figures from Robbins. I am an ace at OBGYN, PSM and Physiology. Micro \u2013 I\u2019ve seen xyz videos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (C)<\/strong>: I have done everything thrice \u2013 except for environmental disorders in Medicine, surface marking in Anatomy &amp; vitamin K in Biochemistry (those I did 4 times!).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (D)<\/strong>: I am halfway through everything \u2013 and I am losing my mind thinking of all that is left. Clinical scenarios &amp; extended matching &amp; multiple-correct type questions are giving me sleepless nights!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (E)<\/strong>: I have seen all videos of xyz course plan, made notes &amp; done half the q-bank of abc test series. But I am scoring poorly on the Grand Tests.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (F)<\/strong>: All that I have been doing is Previous Year Question topics \u2013 I have done all of that 4 times, now \u2013 still seem to keep forgetting Horner\u2019s syndrome, renal autoregulation &amp; acetyl CoA. Common narratives, all of those.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dlp.aakash.ac.in\/medical\/neet-booster-test-series-2023?utm_source=seobanner&amp;utm_medium=DLP_aakashweb&amp;utm_campaign=Neet_Booster_blogcontent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/d20x1nptavktw0.cloudfront.net\/wordpress_media\/2023\/02\/750x242.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nDiagnostic Evaluation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Category (A)<\/strong>: At the cost of trying to master everything, you are probably missing out on a lot of scoring subjects &amp; topics. I am pretty sure that PSM is also a sore point with you (difference between paired t test &amp; unpaired t test).<br \/>\nAnd really, you want to leave out anatomy? Brachial plexus, with its applied anatomy; nerve supply of the hand; shoulder abduction \u2013 that\u2019s 70% of upper limb done, right there! You are missing the trees for the forest, my friend.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (B)<\/strong>: I will be blunt: you only think you are an ace at a particular subject. Which drugs cause hypokalemia, and which ones cause hyperkalemia? Which antibiotics cause QT prolongation? Is the Macula Densa a part of the DCT or the TAL? Wake up &amp; smell the coffee, please! By the way, big thumbs up on chucking radiology &amp; ophthalmology (no kidding!).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (C)<\/strong>: Don\u2019t worry \u2013 I made up this student. She \/ he doesn\u2019t exist!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (D)<\/strong>: This is common, and expected \u2013 no need to panic. Deep breathing exercises will help. Whether you can keep your nerve in the upcoming days &amp; utilize them effectively will determine your outcome.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (E)<\/strong>: You have covered &amp; read a lot, understood quite a bit, revised next to nothing &amp; remember very little. Oh, come on! Honesty \u2013 unless you are honest with yourself, no one can help you!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category (F)<\/strong>: Alas, this one is also a figment of our imagination! This is the smart Alec \u2013 the select few who will crack the exam with flying colors \u2013 and surprise everyone (\u201cYaar, kya baat kar rahaa hai \u2013 usska ho gayaa?\u201d).<br \/>\nOf course you all want to know what to do. It\u2019s simple &#8211; One single solution for everyone, no matter who you are, which category (A through F), &amp; whatever you land yourself to:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PYQ topics. Keep brushing up the high yield points of all the subjects &amp; keep a good hold on PYPs. Do not start<br \/>\nreading rare phenomenon &amp; syndromes in any subject , just because you think you have aced that subject.
