National Standard Examination (NSE) conducted by IAPT in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and Junior Science is the first stage for the international Olympiad. It aims to find and nurture young students who have high aptitude in Science. This IAPT-organized exam is the entry test for International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). It is for\u00a0<b>students studying in\u00a0Class<\/b><b>\u00a0VIII, IX &amp; X\u00a0(as per age criteria)<\/b>\u00a0and is conducted every year in the month of November.<\/p>\n<h3>What it Assesses?<\/h3>\n<p>This national-level examination is designed to assess conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, laboratory skills, and above all, the ability to apply problem-solving skills to novel situations. The NSEJS 2022 question paper help students study strategically for their upcoming exams and provide a proper idea of the important concepts and the trends of the previous years\u2019 papers. As per our expert faculties, the question paper had 13 easy questions, 29 medium questions, and 18 difficult questions overall. Read further to get a detailed analysis of the paper.<\/p>\n<h2>Subject-Wise Paper Analysis<\/h2>\n<h3>Physics<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Physics had 25% Easy, 50% Moderate, and 25% Difficult questions<\/li>\n<li>Around 70% paper was from the syllabus of classes IX and X while 30% paper was from extended boundaries of Classes IX &amp; X<\/li>\n<li>Both theoretical and numerical type questions were included<\/li>\n<li>Two questions were asked from the topic \u2018\u2018Error analysis\u2019\u2019, which has not been asked previously<\/li>\n<li>Overall, the difficulty level of the Physics section was the same as that of last year\u2019s paper (IOQJS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Chemistry<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>In comparison to the previous years, the Chemistry section was a little unanticipated as it carried a significant number of questions from Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, besides questions based on Physical Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Almost 60% of the paper was from extended boundaries of topics covered in Class IX &amp; X<\/li>\n<li>15% questions were Easy, 40% Moderate and 45% Difficult<\/li>\n<li>Both theoretical and numerical type questions were included<\/li>\n<li>Overall, students found the chemistry section a bit challenging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Biology<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The biology section was mainly Easy to Moderate in difficulty level<\/li>\n<li>50% of questions were Easy, 30% Moderate and 20% Difficult<\/li>\n<li>Questions were asked mostly from the syllabus of class IX and X<\/li>\n<li>Most questions were direct and easy to attempt. Some analytical-type questions were also included, mainly from Chapters \u2018Life Processes\u2019 and \u2018Diversity in Living Organisms<\/li>\n<li>Overall, the Biology section was easier than last year\u2019s paper (IOQJS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All in all, the overall difficulty level of the paper ranged from moderate to difficult level.
