In the earlier times people thought that it was not necessary to educate girls. But with time we have begun to realize that girls education is quite essential. The present age is the age of the awakening of girls. It is rightly said that educating a girl means educating the nation. In today\u2019s era, women are trying to compete with men in all spheres of life. While on the other hand there are many people who oppose girls education and feel that the money spent on a girls education is simply a waste. But this view is simply wrong, as educating the girl child can bring in a significant change in the society.<\/p>\n

There are several advantages of a girl’s education and a few of them are:<\/h2>\n

Reduce the burden<\/h3>\n

They can share the burden of men. If girls are well educated and are not forced to marry during childhood, then they will be able to serve the society as writers, lawyers, doctors and much more. They can also work at several banks, hospitals, government offices and so on. They can also play an important role during war.
\nNowadays, with such high expenses, it is very difficult for the people of middle class to make both ends meet. After marriage, educated girls can add to the income of their husbands. If a woman is educated, she can even earn after the death of her husband.<\/p>\n

Make home a happy place<\/h3>\n

The education of a girl is quite necessary in order to make the home a happy place. Educated girls can brighten the future of their country by the upbringing of their children. Education gives a woman freedom of thought. It broadens her outlook and makes her aware of her responsibilities.<\/p>\n

Economically independent<\/h3>\n

Education empowers a grownup girl to be economically independent. A well educated woman will always be able to stand up for her rights. Empowerment of women is necessary to fight against the problem of gender inequality.<\/p>\n

On a concluding note, it is completely wrong when people say girls should not go in for degrees as girls have already proved their worth in all walks of life. There is no reason why girls should not get the same kind of education as men. The progress of a country depends on a girls education. Therefore, girls education should be encouraged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
