The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission test for Masters (IIT JAM) 2023 application process has begun today i.e. 7 September 2022. All those candidates who want to appear for the admission test can apply on the official website– jam.iitg.ac.in<\/em><\/strong>. IIT Guwahati is the organizing body that would be conducting the IIT JAM 2023. The last date to apply for IIT JAM 2023 is 11 October 2022.<\/p>\n

Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Candidates applying for IIT JAM 2023 should be graduates of any recognized university.<\/li>\n
  • Those who are in the final year of their graduation can apply.<\/li>\n
  • Students need to present their passing certificate by 1 September 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The IIT JAM 2023 exam will be held on 12 February 2023 and the results will be released on 22 March 2023. IIT JAM 2023 will be conducted in 7 subjects including Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), and Physics (PH).<\/p>\n

    The IIT JAM paper will consist of three types of questions that are:<\/p>\n

    • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)<\/li>\n
    • Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)<\/li>\n
    • Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Here are the complete steps to apply for IIT JAM 2023:<\/p>\n

      1. Go to the official website–\u00a0iitg.ac.in<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
      2. On the homepage, click on the application portal link<\/li>\n
      3. A new login\/registration page would open<\/li>\n
      4. Register yourself and log in using the login credentials<\/li>\n
      5. Fill in the IIT JAM 2023 application form<\/li>\n
      6. Key in the details and upload the required documents<\/li>\n
      7. Pay the application and submit the form<\/li>\n
      8. Take a printout for future references<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Important Documents for IIT JAM 2023 Application Form<\/h2>\n

        Candidates need to own the below-mentioned documents to fill out the application form for IIT JAM 2023.<\/p>\n

        • Personal information (name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, etc.)<\/li>\n
        • Address for communication (including PIN code)<\/li>\n
        • Eligibility degree details<\/li>\n
        • College name and address with PIN code<\/li>\n
        • JAM Paper(s) Code<\/li>\n
        • Choice of JAM examination cities<\/li>\n
        • High-quality passport-size photograph<\/li>\n
        • A high-quality image of the candidate\u2019s signature<\/li>\n
        • Scanned copy of the Category (SC\/ST) Certificate (if applicable) in PDF format<\/li>\n
        • Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in PDF format<\/li>\n
        • Details of the valid Identity Document (ID). Candidates should carry this original ID proof to the exam centre.<\/li>\n
        • Net-banking\/ debit card\/credit card details for fee payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Conclusion<\/h2>\n

          JAM 2023 Scores are used for admissions to over 2300 seats by various CFTIs including NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER Pune, IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET.
