Everyone is looking for last-minute tips and tricks to ace the exam.

Physics is one of the most important subjects for the JEE Main 2024 exam. If you have solid preparation in Physics, your exam score will go up significantly. Also, most of the students find Physics quite challenging. This discussion aims to provide tips, tricks, and last-minute strategies to ace the JEE Main 2024 Physics paper.

15 Days Revision Plan for Session 2 Exam

Revise all Physics formulas daily:

In almost all of our Physics preparation blogs, we have tried to encourage students to make a formula chart for the Physics formulas. Most of the Physics questions are based on formulas that are very volatile and susceptible to forgetting. In these last 15 days before your exam, you should make it a point to revise all the Physics formulas daily for 15 minutes. The best thing to do is to make a chart and paste it on a wall visible from your bed. That way, you can revise the formulas every day before you go to sleep.

Revise whatever you have studied:

The JEE Main 2024 Syllabus for Physics is extensive. There is a chance that you still have some parts of the JEE Main Physics Syllabus waiting to be completed. If you plan to cram those topics within these days before the exam, please quit the idea. Physics is a concept-based subject. Attempting to memorise the topics just before the exam won’t work. The best thing to do is to revise whatever you have studied till now in these 15 days. Play special attention to JEE Main 2024 Important Chapters. You need to distribute the hours of your day equally between the subjects that form a part of the JEE Mains 2024 Syllabus. Revise whatever you have studied till now for all the subjects, including Physics. Revision is the cure to fix that feeling of blankness just before the exams.

Practise question bank and JEE Main Previous Year Question Papers:

Many students keep on postponing practising JEE Main Previous Year Question Papers until the last moment. They think they should complete the whole syllabus and then think of practising the questions. If you are someone who has not practised the previous year’s question papers for Physics yet, please wake up. JEE Mains is a multiple-choice-based exam. No matter how often you study the theory part, you are not doing it right if you don’t solve the questions. If you are clueless about where to get JEE Main Previous Year Question Papers from, please check JEE Question Papers. These last 15 days before the JEE Mains Exam should be dedicated to solving as many exam pattern questions as possible. This will help you strengthen your reflexes and increase your confidence for the exam.

Also Read:

JEE Main Physics Note-Making Tips from the Experts

JEE Main Physics Chapter-wise Important Questions

Attend JEE Main Mock Tests 2024:

Like with solving Exam pattern questions, many students postpone attending JEE Main Mock Tests 2024 until the exam dates are very near. In many cases, attending mock tests is completely skipped due to a lack of time and a strategic plan. This has very bad consequences for the exam score of the students. Mock tests simulate the conditions of the main exam in terms of questions’ difficulty level, exam duration, and timings. This helps you prepare your mind better for the main exam. Also, when you solve many mock tests, you will better understand the paper pattern and how you need to approach the paper. You will have pre-decided on what order you should solve the questions at your speed and convenience. All this will help you stay relaxed and stress-free before the exam. If you do not have access to the mock tests, please check JEE Main Mock Tests.

Revise your Physics notes:

Even though JEE Mains is a multiple-choice-based exam and practising such questions is incredibly important for the exam, revising your theory part is equally important. As Physics has concept-based questions, if you do not have a strong understanding of the basics, you won’t be able to solve the questions confidently. Given the enormity of the JEE Mains Physics syllabus, it is extremely important that you revise your notes. The human brain is capable of retaining information for a small while. There is a good chance that you will have forgotten most of your concepts by now if you finished your Physics notes long back. Make good use of these two weeks before the exam but revising your notes and brushing up on your memory.

Check our visual story on How to Prepare for JEE Main Physics: Strategies & Important Tips

How to Prepare for JEE Main Physics: Strategies & Important Tips

Practice as many numerical-based questions as you can:

The real-life application of any Physics concept is represented by how confidently you can solve numerical-based problems related to them. Practising many such problems teaches you the right way to apply Physics concepts and decreases the risks of inaccurate application at exam time.

Concentrate:

The 15 days before the JEE Mains exam are very crucial. If you utilise these productively, your exam preparation will be supplemented. The human brain can not remember information for much longer. Two weeks is the perfect span of time for you to motivate your brain to remember what you have learned. If you find yourself distracted easily, you can follow the Pomodoro studying technique. It suggests that you study for 20-25 minutes, take a five-minute break and then repeat the cycle. After every 3-4 cycles, take a longer break of 25-30 minutes. This will ensure that your brain is refreshed at periodic intervals and ready to accept information without getting saturated. The secret is that during that 25-30 minutes of study time, you should do nothing else and stop your brain from wandering. Your entire focus should be on the topic you are studying. Switch off your phone, stay away from social media, and shut out all the noises around you.

Also See:

JEE Main Result 2024

JEE Main Repeater Course

Do not pick new topics:

As mentioned earlier, even if you haven’t completed your syllabus, do not make the mistake of picking up new and untouched topics at this point of your preparation. The idea of touching on every topic might be tempting, but it will just lead to increased anxiety and chaos. Now is the time to revise what you have already studied in the previous months, not to pick up new alien topics.

Talk to someone who has passed the exam:

No matter how much you have studied, doubting yourself and your abilities to pass the exam is natural at this point. Until you have not done it, you will keep doubting yourself. You will keep having second thoughts about whether or not you will be able to crack the exam. The solution to this problem is to talk with someone who has cracked the exam. When you talk to someone who has cracked the exam you are working towards, it helps you learn from their experience, serves as an inspiration, and ensures that you do not commit the mistakes they might have committed during their preparation. Someone who has gone through what you are going through now can guide you in the right direction. It will help increase your rank by thousands at the end of the day.

Meditate:

Are you stressed? If you are, it’s totally fine. At this moment, every student who is sitting for the JEE 2024 on June 21st is stressed. To alleviate stress and anxiety, you can try meditating for ten minutes every day. Just sit in a cool, quiet, and dark place. Close your eyes and try to concentrate on your breathing pattern. Shut out all the thoughts from your mind and focus on the meditating exercise. By the end of it, you will find yourself less stressed and full of positive energy.

Be confident:

Lastly, you have to be confident if you want to pass the exam. You have to believe in yourself and your preparation. Confidence is the biggest asset to pass competitive exams. Do not think that you will fail. Dream of the JEE Main 2022 Result day and think of the happiness and joy you will experience when you get to know that you have passed the exam. You got it!

Conclusion

JEE Main 2022 Exam is going to be held on 21st July 2022. With only two weeks left till the exam, the pressure is real and brimming. But if you follow the steps mentioned above, your JEE Mains Physics preparation will end on a good note, and you will be able to score high marks in the exam. We wish you all the best for the exam and hope that you get rewarded for all the hard work and efforts you have put into your preparation so far.
