The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is one of the most important exams for all the Engineering Aspirants. Students all around the corner are fighting tooth and nail to crack JEE to pursue engineering courses in top-notch institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology, National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions across the country. So, if it is your dream to block a seat in one of these prestigious institutions, then it is mandatory to perform exceedingly well in the JEE Main which is likely to be held in the first week of April.<\/p>\n

Several IIT and NIT aspirants start their preparations for JEE from class VIII onwards. Most of them get enrolled in coaching classes in class VIII or IX so that they are able to get more time to prepare. This helps students to get a stronghold on the concepts and ace the JEE Main. The earlier the preparations begin, students are able to make time to analyze their preparations and get hold of instinctive methods of solving questions.<\/p>\n

In addition, it is very important to plan a timetable and allocate an adequate amount of time to revise each and every subject. Stick to your study schedule and jot down important points and give sufficient time to deal with your weak areas. Include mock tests in your schedule, which is mandatory. Make sure that you have included timely breaks in your schedule, which is essential to improve concentration level.<\/p>\n

The Do\u2019s and Don\u2019ts of cracking Entrance Exam<\/h2>\n

DO\u2019S<\/h3>\n

1) Make sure to reach the exam hall on time.
\n2) Before starting with the answers, ensure to read all the instructions written on the question paper very carefully.
\n3) Write your roll number correctly on the answer sheet
\n4) Do check carefully that the code printed on the Answer Sheet and the test booklet is the same. In case of any discrepancy, get it replaced immediately by informing the invigilator.
\n5) Produce your admit card whenever demanded by the invigilator.
\n6) Attempt the easy questions\/sections first.
\n7) Do stay calm, that\u2019s the basic mantra to follow. Panic attacks are not good for health and exams, especially when it\u2019s JEE Main.
\n8) Maintain silence and focus on your question paper. Don\u2019t get distracted by getting into any conversations or disturbance in the examination hall.
\n9) Do carry your Admit Card to the examination Hall. Entry without an admit card is restricted under any circumstances.<\/p>\n

DONT\u2019S<\/h3>\n

1) Don\u2019t be too late to reach the examination hall. Reaching late will lead you to miss some of the general instructions announced in the examination hall.
\n2) Don\u2019t go for last minute studies. Nothing will go to mind, except tensions and pressure which will not help you at all.
\n3) Don\u2019t compare your preparation with others. Each one of you might have followed a different preparation strategy.
\n4) Don\u2019t carry any gadgets or things like calculators, electronic watches which have calculators or any printed or written piece of paper, mobile phones, etc.
\n5) Do not eat or smoke in the examination hall. This is not the right place to do so.<\/p>\n

However, it is important that students follow these do\u2019s and don\u2019ts before appearing in the examination in order to avoid panic. Unnecessary panic may have a negative effect on the preparation and performance. Every student should give in their best shot without worrying about the final results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
