This exam was previously called CUCET. It has been planned to be conducted all over our nation, and the students who want to study at prestigious public institutions can opt for this exam. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aakash.ac.in\/cucet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">full form of CUET<\/a> is the Common University Entrance Test. This exam consists of three sections, namely:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Section 1: Languages<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Section 2: Domain-Specific\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Section 3: General Test<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although, as per the recent news, there will be 4 Sections from CUET 2022, splitting the Languages section into two parts:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Section I A &#8211; 13 Languages<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Section I B &#8211; 19 Languages<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Section II &#8211; 27 Domain-specific Subjects<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Section III &#8211; General Test<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both Section 1 and 2 have 50 questions each. And the duration for each language would be 45 minutes. Most questions are from <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reading comprehension<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and they will be of various passages (narrative, literary and factual). One of the chosen languages should be in lieu of the domain-specific subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Important note:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students can expect 5-8 reading comprehension questions with a word limit of around 400 to 450 words.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to master the reading comprehension section, the students are advised to go through the editorial section in newspapers and various novels.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The type of comprehension questions might be very different.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The candidates should learn to skip time-consuming questions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to that, there will be 19 questions in Section I B.
