The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared that the class 10th and 12th ICSE and ISC exams will be held only once a year from 2023. CISCE has rolled back from its previous decision over two board exams format annually. You can access the official notice regarding this information on the official website of CISCE \u2014 <\/span>cisce.org<\/i><\/b>.<\/b><\/p>\n

The new two-exam format, (semester 1 and semester 2 ) was introduced due to the Covid pandemic. However, now the board has decided not to move further with the semester system; rather it has gone back to a single board exam format to be held once a year. Additionally, the CISCE<\/a> official notice reads that the ICSE, and ISC Board exams will be organized in February\/ March 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

The official notice states that \u201cIt has been decided by the CISCE to conduct only one examination at the end of the Academic Year 2023 at both ICSE<\/a> & ISC levels. The CISCE declared to conduct the exams tentatively in February-March 2023,\u201d. Also, schools have been suggested to plan their academic calendar accordingly, so that the academic lives of students are not disturbed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The CISCE Council also informed that some changes in the syllabus have also been made in some selected subjects. These changes are now on the official website of CISCE. The official notice states that \u201cPlease note the Syllabus for the ICSE & ISC<\/a> Year 2023 Examination has been revised for selected subjects. The revised syllabus is available on the CISCE website, under the Publication Section,\u201d. You can avail sample papers for all subjects on the official website from July 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

CBSE Return Back to Annual Exam System, Discontinue Term 1 and Term 2 Exams System<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, CBSE has also turned back to the annual examination system. CBSE had chosen term 1 and term 2 exams for the year 2022 due to the pandemic. Since the Covid-19 situation is under control, CBSE has canceled the two-term exams and will soon return to the annual examination system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, the CBSE has also revised the syllabus for classes 9 to 12. Since 2020, the board exams are being held based on a syllabus shortened by 30%. Now, the board has decided to revise the syllabus, and it will be the same as before the covid-19 situation with changes in some chapters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
