The exam will now be held on May 25, 2022. The remaining exams will be held as scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>Issuing a circular, the board said, In view of adverse effects of Cyclone \u2018ASANI\u2019 on the proper conduct of Intermediate Public Examinations in AP on 11-05-2022 and in consideration of the safety of students and staff,\u00a0 stand postponed to 25-05-2022. The rest of the examination schedule from 12-05-2022 remains unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier speculations were being made, however, it was confirmed to students after official orders were released on AP Inter Exams 2022 postponement. Earlier, several candidates took to social media sites urging students to postpone their exams due to the cyclone.<\/p>\n<p>Amid severe cyclone Asani&#8217;s landfall on the southern and eastern coast of India. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Cyclone ASANI is expected to cause landfall on the southern and eastern coast of India. The packing winds could go past 105 kph as it lay centred in Andhra Pradesh&#8217;s Machilipatnam. Currently, the severe cyclonic storm is said to be moving towards the east coast, and impacts were recorded in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and adjoining West Bengal on May 10-11. The IMD notified that the cyclone will set off heavy rain to recurve in a north-eastward direction and weaken gradually into a cyclonic storm. Due to this, several areas of the state have already been put under red, orange, and yellow alerts.<\/p>\n<h3>AP Inter exams 2022: Instructions to be followed<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Since the exam is being conducted in offline mode, COVID-19 instructions should have been strictly adhered.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates should wear masks at all times and maintain social distancing.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates should reach the exam hall well in time.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates should bring a printout of the admit card to the exam centre.<\/li>\n<li>Before answering the questions, read the instructions mentioned on the booklet and the question paper carefully.<\/li>\n<li>The use of electronic devices is not allowed.
