The general notion is that it is a section of chemistry that must be mugged up, that must be memorized, there are no two ways about it. Be class 11 or 12, the NCERT is the absolute best book when it comes to studying inorganic chemistry. It has everything that you need to know about the subject, nothing more, and nothing less. Go through the book properly, mark the important reactions, highlight the main points, and do not forget to revise after you are done with the whole syllabus. Be it is board exams<\/strong> or competitive exams like NEET and JEE, this practice is bound to help you score a lot more than what you would have done otherwise.<\/p>\n

2. Pay close attention to the exceptions<\/h3>\n

As stated before, exceptions form a huge part of inorganic chemistry. It is important to memorize them or learn them by heart since they aren\u2019t too large in number. One could get by with memorizing the exceptions, maybe by writing them down three or four times in one go and later revising.
