The government is trying to accommodate these students in Indian medical colleges. The government of India is currently putting a lot of effort into increasing the number of medical colleges in the country and increasing the seats in the existing medical colleges. It is, therefore, a golden opportunity for you to take advantage of this by working hard and securing your seat in a government medical college.

The number of colleges: Owing to the return of Indian medical students from the war-hit Ukraine, new medical colleges are expected to be opened in India in the coming years. Therefore, the cut-off of the NEET results will decrease.

Fee reduction in private medical colleges: This year, the government has directed all the private medical colleges to reduce the fee of 50% of their seats and bring the fee of those seats at par with the fee structure in government medical colleges.
