For 2023, JEE Advanced will be organised by IIT Guwahati.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility Criteria<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before applying for JEE Advanced 2023, make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">JEE Advanced 2023 accepts Indian nationals (including OCI\/PIO) and international students.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qualifications: Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent in 2023 or 2023 from a nationally recognised school or college.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants must have PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) as an intermediate course.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The qualifying exam&#8217;s 75% rule has been relaxed.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidates may take the JEE Advanced exam no more than twice in two years.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidates must take JEE Main 2023 to be eligible for JEE Advanced in 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1997. Candidates with disabilities who wish to use a writer (scribe) must do so during the online registration process for the JEE (Advanced) 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scribe will only assist the candidate in reading the questions or entering the answers as directed by the candidate. They will not explain the questions or make suggestions for answering them.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To use the services of a scribe, candidates must submit the prescribed request form to the Chairperson of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aakash.ac.in\/jee-advanced-exam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JEE (Advanced) 2023<\/a>\u00a0at the nearest Zonal Coordinating IIT.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To register for the JEE (Advanced) 2023 online, you must apply along with a copy of your PwD certificate (FORM-PwD [II\/III\/IV, whichever is applicable]) or a copy of your Dyslexic Candidate certificates (FORM-DYSLEXIC [1 and 2], whichever is applicable).\u202f\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Examination Center will supply a team of scribes coordinated by the Zonal Coordinating IITs through the Test Center Administrator (TCA) (amanuenses). Scribes will be Class XI science students who have taken mathematics as one of their courses. The candidate with PwD\/dyslexia (severe) must choose their scribe from this group. The personal scribe of a candidate will not be permitted to accompany them.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Suppose it is discovered that an applicant has used a scribe or been granted compensatory time but does not have a disability severe enough to require these accommodations. In that case, they will be removed from consideration for admission at any level in the review, ranking, and admission process. In addition, those who have already been admitted to an IIT will have their access revoked.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Registration Document Requirements<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aakash.ac.in\/jee-advanced-application-form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register for JEE (Advanced) 2023<\/a>, you must provide scanned copies of the following documents\/certificates.\u202f\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>All candidates<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All applicants are required to submit a certified copy of their high school diploma or a birth certificate in the absence of one.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students who took this exam for the first time in 2022 or whose school board announced their Class XII (or equivalent examination) results after October 15, 2021, will be awarded a certificate of completion. In addition, upload a copy of your Class XII (or equivalent) transcript from 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the relaxation rule, those who sat in the JEE exam for the first time in 2021 can retake it in 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An announcement in the local newspaper if the candidate&#8217;s name differs from what appears on the Class-X certificate.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Candidates seeking admission under the GEN-EWS category<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u202f\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must have a FORM-GEN-EWS certificate issued on or after April 1, 2023, following India&#8217;s latest rules.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When registering online, candidates who do not have the GEN-EWS certificate (issued on or after April 1, 2023) must upload a declaration [Declaration instead of GEN-EWS Certificate].\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>OBC-NCL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Form-OBC-NCL must have been issued on or after April 1, 2023, per the Government of India&#8217;s most recent rules for OBC-NCL candidates. Candidates who do not have an OBCNCL certificate (issued on or after April 1, 2022) must submit a statement [Declaration in place of OBC-NCL Certificate] at the time of online registration. The most recent guidelines and updates are available at http:\/\/www.ncbc.nic.in.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>SC\/ST<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the latest Government of India rules, candidates seeking admission under the SC\/ST category must submit a certificate of caste or tribe (FORM-SC\/ST).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>PWD<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For those applying under the PwD category, the UDID Certificate or FORM-PwD [II\/III\/IV, as applicable] from the medical authority informed by the applicant&#8217;s school is required.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dyslexic candidates must submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 instead of FORM-PwD. In addition, the candidate&#8217;s certificate must include the word &#8220;SEVERE&#8221; in the Dyslexia category.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each IIT establishes a medical board to assess the candidate&#8217;s level of disability at the time of admission.
