NEET (The National Eligibility Entrance Test) is applicable in MBBS and BDS degrees offered by private and govt institutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NEET exam is highly competitive as the number of candidates attempting the exam is too high compared to the number of total seats available. The pressure on students is too high as they have to not only prepare for exams but also attempt mock tests, practice papers, etc, the pressure from family and friends also makes it tiresome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from the mental pressure, there are a number of problems and challenges that NEET students face that we will discuss in the following article:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dlp.aakash.ac.in\/medical\/neet-booster-test-series-2023?utm_source=seobanner&amp;utm_medium=DLP_aakashweb&amp;utm_campaign=Neet_Booster_blogcontent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/d20x1nptavktw0.cloudfront.net\/wordpress_media\/2023\/02\/750x242.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000;\">1) Juggling Between School &amp; NEET Coaching\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Going to school and keeping up with NEET coaching is one of the most common challenges faced by medical students. Students spend half of their day in school, and then after coming back home they have to attend their NEET coaching, which also doubles the homework. But it will become a cakewalk if you prepare the right NEET study schedule, keeping your school timings in mind. Create a daily timetable along with a separate timetable for weekends\/holidays and see how things change. The syllabus is a lot and things become messy when they do complete the NCERT syllabus, by heart supplementarily, solve previous question papers, etc.\u00a0 If you realize that you have piled up backlogs then you should immediately plan out things about how to clear them because delaying will only cause harm to your NEET preparation. Here are a few tips by our NEET experts to help you in clearing backlogs during NEET exam preparation:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><b>Pay attention to what\u2019s currently happening in your class\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just because you have backlogs does not mean you will ignore what\u2019s currently going on in your class. If you keep thinking about backlogs, you will be piling things up more. So it\u2019s better to focus on the ongoing syllabus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Make a schedule &amp; divide your days accordingly<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t try to clear two subject\u2019s backlogs in a day, instead plan out a weekly or monthly schedule, set dedicated hours for each subject and chapter. Make a list of topics and chapters, tick them off when you\u2019re done with them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><b>Be patient\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It took you months or weeks to have a backlog, do you think you will be able to clear it in just a few days? Be realistic, give yourself attainable deadlines. Otherwise, you will be exhausting yourself and lose focus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000;\">3) Not Evaluating Yourself\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students often just keep preparing for the NEET exam but miss out on self-evaluation. This is an important part when you\u2019re preparing for such a highly competitive exam. Self-assessment is absolutely required whether you are preparing for NEET or any other exam. If you don\u2019t evaluate yourself, you will never get to know how far you have come and if you\u2019re headed in the right direction. You will miss out on silly mistakes you made, and repeat them during your final NEET examination. This is why we always tell students to solve previous year question papers, evaluate them, note down mistakes, and then redo-revise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000;\">4) Ignoring Difficult Concepts\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We all have a habit of leaving out difficult things in life whether it\u2019s a task, chapter, or topic. A lot of students who are preparing for the NEET exam also tend to get tangled in such habits and it becomes a bigger issue while attempting the actual NEET exam. You might lose your score or even fail the exam. Some tips to keep in mind when you\u2019re dealing with difficult chapters or topics:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Write them down, so you don\u2019t forget to revise them later.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Talk to your teachers, mentors, and friends.
