Class 10 CBSE board exams are starting from 30th<\/sup> November 2021. It is possible for students to feel somewhat relieved once they are done with their Social Science Paper. Students should not take this paper lightly as a little ignorance in the exam will lead to a reduced score in this paper. Usually, students find Social Science as one of the most boring and difficult subjects as it does not require the testing of a student\u2019s skills and is entirely based on the mugging of facts and answers. However, with the right preparation strategy, students can easily get a good score in their Social Science Exam.<\/p>\n

In this article, we have gathered some of the interesting last-minute preparation tips and show outstanding performance on the final day of the exam.<\/p>\n

1. In-depth study of the subjects is most important<\/span><\/h3>\n

Social science is both fact-based and concept-based.\u00a0 So, for the best learning, your concepts must be clear. For this try to relate chapters and concepts within a chapter. Assertion\/Reasoning, Statement based questions, and Case study-based questions are based on your understanding so go to the conceptual level. Identify your weak areas and work on them. Focus on NCERT books.<\/p>\n

2. Clarity about the examination pattern<\/span><\/h3>\n

CBSE has issued a detailed \u201cblueprint\u201d of the examination format and subject-wise distribution of marks. You should be very familiar with the blueprint.<\/p>\n

3. Prepare a regular revision schedule<\/span><\/h3>\n

Time schedule dedicated to every subject (History, Geography, Economics, and Political science) must be prepared in advance. Keep in mind the content of the chapters as some chapters require more time for revision. All four subjects have equal weightage.<\/p>\n

4. Real-time practice<\/span><\/h3>\n

For a professional approach, real-time practice is very important. Take a sample paper and try to attempt the paper as if you are attempting for the board exam.<\/p>\n

5. Map-based questions<\/span><\/h3>\n

Don\u2019t ignore map-based questions. Questions will be from History and Geography so practice them.<\/p>\n

6. Read the instructions carefully<\/span><\/h3>\n

In the examination hall, be careful about the internal choices and the time limit. Distribute time for each section carefully as sections B and C may require more time. Try to finish the answers in advance so that there is enough time for revision. Read the question carefully.<\/p>\n

7. Slow and steady wins the race<\/span><\/h3>\n

Be calm and composed physically as well as emotionally. Try to give your best. Don\u2019t worry about the outcome. Avoid human error as taking exams is an art. It should be smart work.<\/p>\n
