1. Focus On What\u2019s Currently Going On In Class<\/h3>\n

If you have a backlog of a few different topics and subjects, meanwhile the chapters that are currently being discussed in your class are different, you won\u2019t be able to focus on any. It is better to concentrate on what is going on in the present rather than trying to study everything at once. Doing so will only increase your backlog, and you will only regret it later.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Divide Your Days & Make a Schedule<\/h3>\n

Do not study two subjects or two chapters in a day, instead make a weekly or monthly schedule along with dedicated hours. Devote 2 \u2013 3 hours to each chapter or subject. You can also divide the subjects into weeks and clear all backlogs subject-wise. If you can\u2019t give 2-3 hours each day to backlogs, we would suggest you at least.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Patience Is The Key, Trust The Process to Prepare for JEE\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Thinking you can clear your months-long backlog in a few days? Just think realistically, it took months to pile up, you won\u2019t be able to finish it in days or weeks. Don\u2019t lose hope in the middle, and drop the idea rather promise yourself that no matter how you will do it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Avoid Group Studies During Your JEE Preparation<\/span><\/h3>\n

Group studies are a great way to widen your horizons and clear your doubts. But if they\u2019ve covered more chapters or topics than you, you will eventually feel left out and lose confidence. So, it\u2019s best to avoid them if you are not at the same pace. You can start group studying once you have cleared your backlogs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Divide Topics into Categories\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

We know that diving topics into categories might seem daunting but you will thank us later. Firstly list the chapters along with a detailed list of all the topics which have been covered in those chapters. Then divide them into categories, first the topics you are aware of, then the topics you have a gist of followed by the topics you have no idea about. Now you can either sit with your tutor or teacher and ask them to mark the most important topics on the list.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Start with chapters or subjects as per your liking but don\u2019t study one topic from one chapter and one from the other, study each chapter at a time. 6. Make Short Notes While Studying Theories\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

If you are going through theories then it\u2019s best to make short notes while reading them, it will save your time and help you in revision. Give tests at the end of each chapter, so that you\u2019re aware of your progress. Analyze your test results and work on the topics you find difficult. We suggest putting a timer during tests to provide yourself with real-life situations. Always aim to finish the tests in less time than previous attempts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
