Cut-off likely to go Higher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 7 lakh students registered for the JEE Main session 3 which was concluded on July 27. The answer key for the exam has been released and results to be announced soon. Candidates who performed for the Entrance exam in July have found the exam to be relaxed. This means that students would be getting high marks and the cut-off for JEE Advanced could also go high. This session is seen to be easy in comparison to the first and second therefore the cut-off for this session can go a little higher. All those students who get a percentile of more than 98 will have the chance of getting into a good Engineering college.<\/p>\n<p>During the third session, Physics was noticed to be the easiest part and Chemistry was seen to be the scoring one as it was mostly based on NCERT. The difficulty level of every session was different. Also, the third session was the easiest in comparison to the other two.<\/p>\n<p>The final cut-off for the Engineering exam could be decided once all sessions are completed. The August session is yet to be held. Based on the level of JEE Main Paper-1 held in July and the papers held in Feb and March, experts state that the cut-off in JEE Main 2021 to qualify for JEE Advanced 2021 is expected to be around 90 percentile for the general category. The number of students appearing for the exam has gone down due to COVID-19. If a student does not get through an IIT or NIT, they can consider high-ranking private colleges too. All those candidates who would be appearing for the exam in August can consider chemistry to be a rank booster as it tends to be more scoring.<\/p>\n<p>Last year the cut-off for JEE Main exam was 90 percentile while in 2019 it was around 89 percentile for the unreserved category.
