On Thursday, CBSE submitted a 40:30:30 formula for the calculation of the theory component. This will be based on the student\u2019s performance in Classes 12, 11, and 10, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For the practical and internal assessment component, the schools will submit the actual marks based on students\u2019 school performance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The formula submitted to the Hon. Supreme Court defines that the theory marks of each subject will be computed using 40% of the marks they scored in mid-term or pre-board exams held by their respective schools earlier this year. 30% will be calculated from their Class XI final exam marks, and 30% from their Class X board exam score. All scores will eventually be added to actual marks they got in their Class XII internal assessment and practical for each subject.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Adhering to the formula, Schools will prepare the final results and upload marks on the Board\u2019s link by July 15, after which results will be declared by the CBSE as usual by July 31.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Highlights of the 40:30:30 assessment formula<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the final assessment of the theory part, Classes X and XI performances will hold 30 percent weightage each while Class XII will get 40 percent weightage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Class XII marks will be evaluated based on Unit Test\/Mid-Term\/Pre-Board exams held earlier this year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Class XI marks will be based on the theory component of the final exam.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Class X marks will be calculated based on the average theory component of the best three performing subjects out of five main subjects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Marks for Practical\/Internal Assessment etc. will be marked by the schools based on a student\u2019s performance throughout the year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A Result Committee comprising 5 members for the assessment will be formed in every CBSE school, and total marks awarded would be in consonance with the past performance of the school in Class XII board examinations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Students who will be found unable to meet the qualifying criterion will be placed in the \u201cEssential Repeat\u201d or \u201cCompartment\u201d category.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The uncertainty regarding Class 12 board examinations result has finally come to an end.
