The year 2020 has been transformational for the education sector. Since the onset of the pandemic in March; educational institutes across the nation have been closed. The teaching pedagogy completely changed. Students who were stuck in their homes for almost a year now were in a turmoil with little to less social interaction.<\/p>\n
Recently, on Monday, Union Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank made a few big announcements about the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams. He virtually interacted with students during an event hosted by Kendriya Vidyalaya, Andrews Ganj.<\/p>\n
Based on the concerns raised by students, who\u2019ve gone through a different academic session. The Minister told the students that the questions in their board examinations will be based on a reduced syllabus, according to the 2020 curriculum.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cThe students would only have to review the revised syllabus for their CBSE board examinations\u201d<\/em>\u00a0He added, “Board exams will be held from May 4 to June 10 for classes 10 and 12<\/em>.” This will be finalized once the Central Board of Secondary Education comes out with the official examination date sheet. Not only this, but he also said that schools can conduct pre-board examinations for Class 12 from March 20 to April 15 and Class 10 pre-board examinations from April 1 to April 15.<\/p>\n Apart from this when asked about the reopening of schools, he claimed if the student is not willing to visit the school for now. He\/She has an option to continue their online classes. He continues to say that online and physical classes will have a 50-50 per cent balance.<\/p>\n When asked about the online exams for\u00a0class 9th<\/sup> and 11th<\/sup>.
