Aspirants have upped their NEET preparation and are leaving no stone unturned to make the best of the last two weeks. Refer to our NEET 2020 quick guide here for important details and updates. With every 24 hours becoming the most valuable asset that students have, it is time for a laser-sharp strategy. Let’s get to how can you get an edge in the last two weeks before NEET 2020:

Say No To New Topics

Don’t make the mistake of starting any new topics during the last two weeks. It is a recipe for disaster. The approach all the top-rankers follow is to stick to what you are good at and keep getting better at it. Syllabus for NEET 2020 is massive and starting any new topic a few days before the exam is discouraged. Instead, put your strengths in focus and revise the chapters and topics you are good at, again, again and again. Why starting a new topic is not advised is because the entire cycle of reading, grasping, memorizing, taking notes and revision takes up quite a huge chunk of your valuable time. Time is something that you cannot afford to lose at any cost.

Biology and Mock Tests: Work out a Strategy

Take as many mock tests as possible for NEET 2020. There is no better way to assess and improve your NEET 2020 preparation. Take the mock test, analyse performance, identify improvement areas and go back to strengthen your preparation.

If your NEET 2020 mock tests scores are not improving, this is the time to tweak your approach. Many students focus on Physics and Chemistry which leads to them lagging in Biology. There is a good chance that you might be struggling to push your NEET mock test score beyond the 250-mark. Make Biology your priority and work on making it your strength.

If you haven’t attempted any NEET mock tests or wish to take more, you can take our free NEET mock tests here: Free NEET 2020 Mock Tests

Aim to improve your score with every NEET mock test you take. Don’t take mock tests mindlessly but adopt a strategy instead. Attempt Biology questions first. The NEET exam every year gets maximum questions from Biology that carry maximum marks weightage. Hence, Biology should be your go-to section when starting a NEET mock test. Next step is to play to your strengths. Identify a combination of topics and chapters that you are strong in and the ones that carry maximum weightage. That’s the perfect spot we need to hit every time. This should be your systematic approach and must be applied for all three subjects – Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

Make or Break Chapters and Topics

Maximum weightage carrying questions should be your primary focus area. If you have referred to previous year papers and appeared for NEET mock tests, you must have identified a pattern by now. For each subject, you must cover the maximum weightage topics to boost your NEET score and rank. Here are the few topics that require your precious time and effort:

Biology:
Plant Kingdom
Animal Kingdom
Cell Structure and Function
Human Health and Diseases
Ecosystem
Principles of Inheritance and Variation
Human Reproduction

Physics:
Modern Physics and Semiconductor Devices
Magnetism and Matter
Current Electricity
Newton Laws System
Particles and
Rotation Motion

Chemistry:
Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure
s- and p- Block Elements
Equilibrium
Chemical Kinetics
d- and f- Block Elements

Right-click to save this image for quick reference to important NEET 2020 topics.

NEET 2020 Important Topics – Quick Reference

While short and summarized notes are an indispensable part of your NEET 2020 preparation, visual cues are essential for retention of important concepts.
