With each passing year, Aakash is setting new milestones. We work with high zeal and would love to congratulate all the medical and engineering aspirants who have been able to get their heads into the most sought-after entrance examinations in the country. In order to honor these students, Aakash Institute at Kolkata organized <\/span>VYOM-2019<\/b>, an annual felicitation Ceremony to congratulate their toppers in various competitive exams for the year 2019 on the 6th of July 2019 at the prestigious Kalamandir Auditorium, Kolkata. The event was attended by more than 500 top performers along with their parents and family from all across. The esteemed members of the faculty, and senior members of the management of Aakash Institute, Kolkata were also present.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event began with the Master of Ceremony welcoming everyone and congratulating all the students and their teachers, family and the entire team of Aakash Kolkata for showcasing excellent performance in the year 2019. This was later on followed by some motivational skit performances by the Indian Mime Theatre Artists who fascinated the audience. It is always seen that Aakash has always been a step ahead to populate the toppers list of Medical Entrance examinations every year. This year, in NEET (UG) 2019, the Aakash centers in Kolkata have shown excellent performance and have created history with 2 Kolkata Aakashians securing a place in the top 50, in the General category with top rank of 11 from the Classroom courses. A total of 430 Kolkata Aakashians from the Classroom courses have been selected in the merit list of NEET (UG) 2019 up to an All India Rank of 25,000 in the General Category. In addition to this, Aakashians have also excelled in two of the most prestigious medical entrance examinations in the country i.e. AIIMS & JIPMER. As per the results, there are about 74 Kolkata Aakashians from the classroom courses who made it to the merit list of the AIIMS in the General Category in 2019. Out of this, 2 are in the top 50. 42 Aakashians from the Classroom courses from the Kolkata branch made it to the merit list of JIPMER in the General Category in 2019, amongst which 4 have found a place in the top 100.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, in the Engineering Entrance Examinations, 88 Kolkata Aakashians from the Classroom Courses have qualified in the JEE (Main) 2019 up to an All India Rank of 30,000 in the General Category. Additionally, 27 Kolkata Aakashians from the Classroom courses secured their name in the merit list of JEE (Advanced) with the top ranks of 80, 1342, 2238, 3130 and 3549 in the General Category. Other than this, in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (Engineering) 2019, Aakashians from the Classroom Courses in Kolkata secured the top ranks of 2,16,25 and 28 in General Category.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All the topper students were invited to the stage one by one and honored with medals by the esteemed faculty members. The topmost performers were also given Trophies and cash rewards. Also, Mr. Hemant Khandelia NEET All India rank 11, was rewarded with a cash reward of Rupees One lakh.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lastly, it became an emotional moment for everyone, as the faculty, students and their parents recalled the hard work and determination of the last two years at Aakash, which at the end resulted in such an excellent performance. All the members of the team Aakash joined in wishing the students good luck for a successful career ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
