JEE Main 2023 has 3 papers and will be conducted in 2 shifts, morning & evening. Paper 1, which is for B.E/B. Tech will be conducted online.
Paper 2A is for B.Arch aspirants and will be conducted both online & offline. Paper 2B (for B.Planning) will be a Computer-based Test.
Here is the list of the number of questions and total marks for each paper.
– Paper 1 - 90 MCQs - 300 marks – Paper 2A - 82 questions - 400 marks – Paper 2B - 105 MCQs - 400 marks
The duration of all 3 papers will be 3 hours and 20 minutes. 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The negative marking system applies to both Section A and Section B in the JEE Main 2023 exam.
