Pythagoras’ theorem had been initially discovered in ancient times Egypt and Babylon (starting B.C.1900).
The relation was depicted on Plimpton 322, a 4,000 yr old Babylon stone. The connection was not commonly known until Pythagoras clearly stated it.

As per legend, Pythagoras found that notes of music can also be converted into mathematical equations.
