Kinematics: Revision Notes for CBSE Class 12 Physics Exam

Let us see the important notes of Kinematics that need to be revised for the CBSE Class 12 Physics Exam.

First study the introduction of Kinematics, its definition, what it deals with, etc.

Study the definition of 'Motion of a body' with examples. Learn the definition of a particle.

Definition of 'Distance' and 'Displacement' with examples.

Learn average speed, average velocity, instantaneous speed, instantaneous velocity, average acceleration, instantaneous acceleration, and their derivation.

Study 'Motion of bodies in three dimensional space' - displacement-time graph, velocity-time graph, and acceleration-time graph.

Also, learn the relative velocity and equations of motion, displacement in nth second. These will help in solving numerical problems.

Study about projectile motion.  It has two cases: -Projectile is horizontal. -Projectile is at an angle.

Learn the derivation of the equation of the trajectory.

Also, learn the equations for maximum height, time of flight and maximum horizontal range.

The two important things to learn in this are 'Angular velocity' and 'Angular acceleration'.

Circular Motion

Practise as many numerical problems as possible from different textbooks.
