Steps to Find the Value of Sin 45 Degrees

 NCERT Maths

The angle of the right -angled triangle  and length are calculated using three primary ratios in trigonometry: Sine, Cosine and Tangent.

Let us first understand the significance of the Sine function in trigonometry before moving on to sin 45 degrees.

The acute angle of a right-angled triangle  is the opposite side to the angle and hypotenuse are defined by the sine function.

The ratio of the opposite side (perpendicular) and hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle is equal to the sine of angle.

Consider PQR as the isosceles right triangle. The sine of an angle is equal to the ratio of the length of the opposite side PQ to the angle and its hypotenuse PR.

The value of sin45 degreees

This is a simple method for calculating the values of sine ratios for all degrees.

You can simply compute the values for any other trigonometric ratios after knowing this method. So, let's get started on the sin 45.
