Important Notes on Trigonometry Values for Board Exams

Trigonometry establishes the relationships between the sides and angles of a right-angled triangle.

Triangle is a flat geometric figure that has three sides and three angle.

In trignometry θ is defined by an angle measured from x-axis in anticlockwise direction. Finding the x-coordinate of a given angle is called 'Cosine'.

If the angle  is  θ, then finding the respective cosine is referred as cosine θ  or cos θ . The value of cos ranges from  1 to 1.

Similarly, Finding the y-coordinate of a given angle is called 'sine'. If the angle is θ, then finding the respective cosine is referred as 'sine θ'  or 'sin θ'.

Trigonometric Ratio:Ratio of sides of the triangle is called 'Trignometric Ratio'. Diagram and explaination of Sinθ, Cosθ, Tanθ, Cotθ, Cosecθ, Secθ:

Sides are always labelled with respect to the ‘θ’ being considered. Trignometric values for 0,30,45,60,90, are:
