How to Find  Co-prime Numbers?

To find any two numbers are co-prime or not, first we need to find their Greatest Common Factor (GCF).

HCF (8,9) = 1

If HCF is one then we can say that they are co prime.

Example

HCF ( 7,9 ) = 1

Therefore 7 and 9 are co-prime numbers.

Properties of  Co-prime Numbers

The HCF of two coprime numbers is always 1.

The product of two coprimes is always the Least Common Multiple (LCM) of those two coprimes.

Two even numbers cannot be co-prime numbers because they always have 2 as a common factor.
