Maths Exam Notes:  What are Angles?  Different types of Angles?

Angle An angle is a figure formed by two rays intersecting at a common endpoint.

Acute Angle An angle whose measure is less than 90 degrees and greater than zero degrees, is called an 丙acute angle丙.

Types of Angles Based on Measurement

Right Angle  An angle whose measure is 90 degrees is called a 丙Right angle丙.

Obtuse Angle An angle whose measure is greater than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees is called an 丙obtuse angle丙.

Straight angle A straight angle is defined as an angle with a measure of 180 degrees. Note: Two right angles are equal to a straight angle.

Reflex Angle A reflex angle is defined as an angle that is greater than 180 degrees but less than 360 degrees.

Zero Angle  A zero angle is defined as an angle with a measure of zero degrees.

Complete Angle An angle whose measure is 360 degrees is called complete angle.
