Units  Conversion

Conversion of Units in Math’s: While solving many problems in mathematics, it is necessary to convert units. Mathematical conversions are necessary to complete the calculations.

The use of a unit depends on the situation; for example, the length and thickness of a pencil are measured in centimeters and millimeters, respectively.

Standard SI units are considered for the conversions of any units.

Standard SI units are considered for the conversions of any units.

Let’s see how to convert different units of length.

The ascending order of lengths, in general, are millimeter < centimeter < meter < kilometer <... goes so on.

We know that  10mm =1cm,  100cm = 1metre, 1000metres =1km.

If you're going in ascending order of length, use division; if you're going in descending order of length, use multiplication.
